CLUB INFORMATION: The Wonder Lake Senior Citizens' Club is comprised of seniors, ages 55 and older, residing in Wonder Lake, McHenry, Johnsburg and Woodstock.

The club meets on the first and third Mondays of each month at the McHenry Township Center, 3519 N. Richmond Road in McHenry. (The Center is closed on holidays.)

In addition to friendship and camaraderie, the members enjoy social get-togethers, play cards and games, host guest speakers, and have fun together at parties, outings and luncheons throughout the year.

Members pay $6 annual dues in March and a 50 cent attendance fee per meeting. Cake and coffee (tea or hot chocolate) is served at the meetings and provided by the membership.

For transportation to meetings call the McHenry Township Senior Express at (815) 385-5605. The senior bus service needs 24 hour notice and costs $1 per ride (one way).

NEW OFFICERS: New officers are Helen Zak as Secretary, and Betty Chevopulos, Vice President. Continuing as Treasurer is Helen Brod and Dorothy Pahr, President. Out going Vice President is Barbara Burke, who has contributed much to our Club and we thank her for years of service.

A BIG WELCOME:

Members of the Wonder Lake Senior Ctizen's Club would like to welcome the new Senior Services Activity Director, Ms Amy Zavala, to the McHenry Township.

All McHenry County Senior's are welcome to join. We meet, discuss plans on upcoming events, play games, have cake and coffee (tea) and enjoy the company of our peers.

UPCOMING EVENT:

Our annual Christmas party was held at Warsaw Inn on December 7th. It was a great success, and we wish all of our members a Happy New Year.
